Lush Christmas 2010 - Bath Bits

The Lush Christmas products are released today and I am too ill to get to a store so I thought I would introduce you to the products on here! First I will introduce you to this years Ballistics and Bubble Bars. For those of you who don't know, a ballistic is used by dropping it in a bath full of hot water. It fizzes away leaving a gorgeous smell and usually a lovely colour. Bubble bars are solids bubble baths. You crumble them under running water and get a lovely luxurious bubbly bath. Lush products are made using natural ingredients and are not tested on animals.

Ballistics
Cinders
This ballistic came out last year and I fell in love with it. It is inspired by Cinderella and has popping candy embedded on the top. This pops in the bath and causes a lovely crackling noise like an open fire just like the one Cinderella used to sleep next to. It has a gorgeous christmassy smell. Cinders smells like Cinnamon, Orange and Almond. It is spicy, uplifting and relaxing. At £1.95 it's not a bad price either! Get yours online from here.

Winter Bath
This ballistic is new for this year so I only know what Lush have said about it. In winter we love hot baths to warm us up but hot water can often have a drying effect on our skin. This ballistic has a spicy scent and it contains soya milk powder and shavings of moisturising bath melt to keep your skin soft in the harsh weather. The spicy fragrance is from the ginger and the clove buds which are in the ballistic. This one is also £1.95 and can be bought online here.

Satsumo Santa
This little guy was in last years christmas range and I only got to try it once! I love it though, it has a lovely orangey scent and the water turns a really nice colour. I find it is a good one to wake you up in a morning bath when it is horrible and dark outside. It would also be a nice scent for summer. The shape of this ballistic means it is perfect as a stocking filler and kids will love it! This ballistic £2.90 and can be bought here.

The Boog
Again, this is a new ballistic so all I know is what Lush have said! Look at it though, isn't it cute! The Boog is a herbal bath treat which is a ballistic with bits of bubble bar inside. This means is slowly froths and leaves a thin layer of bubbles on the surface of the bath. From my experience,  these ballistics leave the water lovely and soft and are very luxurious. This ballistic was inspired by a swiss tradition of filling a snowman's head with fireworks, putting it on a bonfire and seeing how long it takes to go boom! This guy therefore has colours in the back of his head to create a beautiful effect in the bath. The Boog is £1.95 from here.

So White
So White was the first ballistic to be released with shavings of bubble bar inside. It came out last year and was based on the fairy tale of Snow White. It smells of apples so if you like Fizzbanger you'd probably love this! It is £1.80 from here.

Li'l Lush Pud
This is one of the Lush classics in my opinion because it has been in the christmas lineup every year since I got into Lush. It started out a lot bigger but it is just as lovely in a smaller size (especially if you use it with Marzibain bubble bar!). It smells very much like a christmas pudding and has cloves, lemon peel and almond in it. It also has aloe vera to soothe the skin. The Li'l Lush Pud is £1.95 from here.

Bubble Bars

Candy Cane
This is another product that seems to come back every year! It has a swirly pattern on it just like the christmas treats. It smells really nice and girly, like vanilla sweeties. Perfect for christmas stockings! Get yours at £2.35 from here.

Christmas Eve
This bubble bar came out last year and quickly became a favourite. It contains ylang ylang and jasmine and it helps you to relax and get to sleep the night before christmas (or any other night!). This bubble bar turns the water a fantastic colour as well! It is £2.60 from here.

Bearded Lady
This is a new bubble bar from this year. Lush say it is a banana and avocado bubble bar which I think sounds amazing! It also has oat milk inside to keep your skin lovely and soft. These are £2.50 from here.

Gingerbread House
Last but not least... this is a new bubble bar and is the one I am most desperate to try! It looks really cute, just like the Hansel and Gretel house, and apparently it smells gorgeous. This scent includes lots of ginger and a bit of a fruity note as well! I cant wait to get into a bubbly ginger bath on a cold rainy night... You can get yours for £2.45 from here.

I'm off for a quick bath now but when I get back I will introduce you to the rest of the Lush 2010 Christmas range!
